MIAMI, Fl., July 2023 - ViendoMovies, the channel owned by SOMOSTV (a company presided by Luis Villanueva and part of SOMOS Group) that programs the best movies produced in Spanish, 24 hours a day and without commercial breaks, presents this weekend (Saturday at 9 pm ET) the movie “Intemperie”, an award-winning film directed by Benito Zambrano and starring the Spanish actor and musician Luis Tosar, one of the most recognized and versatile talents of Spain. “Intemperie” is a movie that has achieved great acceptance among critics and audiences, as well as in various festivals and awards, for the successful combination of elements of “western”, in a production that took place in the south of Spain.
“Intemperie” tells the dramatic story of a boy who, for unknown reasons (but that are guessed to be terrible), flees the village listening to the screams of the men who are looking for him and enters the relentless plain. What remains before him is an infinite and arid plain that he must cross if he wants to definitively get away from the hell he is fleeing from. In his escape he will meet a shepherd who will help him against his pursuers, the foreman of the village and his men. From that moment on, when their steps cross with those of the shepherd, nothing will be the same for either of them. The cast of the movie is made up of Luis Tosar as the shepherd, Jaime López as the boy and Luis Callejo as the foreman, among other talents.
“Intemperie” received the Goya Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Song (being also nominated for Best Film and Best Supporting Actor). At the Asecan Awards of Andalusian Cinema, “Intemperie” received five awards: Best Direction (for Benito Zambrano), Best Screenplay (for Benito Zambrano, Pablo Remón and Daniel Remón), Best Supporting Actor (for Vicente Romero), Best Photography (for Pau Esteve Birba) and Best Original Song (for Javier Ruibal).
