MIAMI, FL., June, 2023 – Semillitas, the 24-hour commercial-free Spanish-language children's animation channel owned by SOMOSTV (a company presided over by Luis Villanueva), will premiere the first season of the renowned animated series for preschoolers, Tina and Tony, on Friday, June 16th. The channel will premiere the series for its audience in the United States, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and all of Central America. Tina and Tony is a computer-generated animated television series (CGI) produced by "Children Channel", LLC and Riki Group. The series has been a huge success in China and North America. Now, Season 1 is coming to Semillitas TV with 52 episodes, each lasting 5 minutes.

In this first season, we get to know Tina the elephant and Tony the hippopotamus, two best friends who live in a town full of wonders, adventures, and fun friends. They are joined by a cast of supporting characters, including a hardworking rabbit family, three inseparable pigs, the strong athlete Bear, the beautiful Fox, the intelligent Mouse, and the Penguin. Energetic and mischievous Tina drags the passive and cautious Tony into great adventures. Thanks to her, they are never bored, and thanks to him, they find a way to safely get out of trouble. Despite being very different, they complement each other well and share a great friendship, highlighting how enriching friendship can be even if we are not the same. The phrase "We are different... and that is wonderful" summarizes one of the most prominent messages of this preschool animated series.

Tina and Tony has great reception among preschoolers, with recurring themes of friendship and problem-solving. The series is designed to be entertaining and educational, with fun animations that help children learn and remember important concepts.
