ViendoMovies, the film channel that programs exclusive films originally produced in Spanish 24 hours a day, commercial free, shows for Halloween a set of horror, thrillers and suspense films, typical of the atmosphere of this celebration so popular in the United States, Puerto Rico and many Latin American countries. The channel, owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva) and produced entirely in HD, is characterized by the celebration in its programming of the festivities of the United States and Spanish-speaking countries, within its strategy of cultural relevance and enhancing as well the contributions of Hispanics to the country's film culture.

The Halloween celebration begins with primetime movies and is reinforced throughout the day. ViendoMovies shows in primetime No Dormirás(Argentina/Spain), followed by Cementerio General 2 (Peru) and Los Inocentes (Spain). In No Dormirás (winner of the Malaga Festival 2018: Best Photography and Editing) we see the story of an abandoned psychiatric hospital, where actors (Eva De Dominici, Belén Rueda, Natalia de Molina, Germán Palacios and others) rehearse with insomnia for a play created by a group of patients. Without sleep, they reach new thresholds of perception by facing hidden energies and stories of the place. Bianca, a promising young actress, joins the cast in competition for the lead role and must survive a force that pushes them to a tragic outcome. General Cemetery 2 (Milene Vásquez, Matías Raygada, Hernán Romero), on the other hand, tells the story of Fernanda, a psychiatrist who is in charge of investigating the mystery of the Ouija board that ended the lives of some boys. In the middle of her investigation she will discover that this board is actually a portal of an ancestral demon, which has to do with her and her son.  Finally, Los Inocentes (Mario Marzo, Charlotte Vega, Alex Batllori), is the story of a group of young people who go on an excursion and spend the night in an abandoned hostel, about which there is a curse.

Apart from these films, ViendoMovies programs other movies of the same genre and consonant with the festivity such as Los Condenados (Puerto Rico), La cara del diablo (Peru), La Hermandad (Spain), Gygnus (Mexico), Fin (Spain) and Barrancas (Mexico), completing a sample of the best of suspense and horror cinema of Spanish-speaking countries. 

At the end of 2021, the SOMOSTV channel promotes its programming for the rest of the period, supported by its staff international acquisitions, which allows it to show the audience a selection of the best of contemporary cinema produced in Spanish.
