MIAMI, Fl., October, 2020 – ViendoMovies, the exclusive 24-hour Spanish movies channel, commercial-free, with the best contemporary films, owned by SOMOSTV announced its programming of exclusive movies dedicated to Halloween, a date suitable for entertainment full of spirits, terror and horror. Given the pandemic, the celebration will not be the same, but ViendoMovies takes this opportunity to bring the best of this film genre to audiences in the United States and Puerto Rico.

On October 31, ViendoMovies will program films that go along with this "chilling" commemoration all awarded at various international film festivals: Las Brujas De Zugarramurdi (Spain),  El Reino Del Guardián and Barrancas (Both from Mexico), Las Caras Del Diablo and Maligno (Both of Peru), Los Inocentes (Argentina), Los Condenados (Puerto Rico), Purgatorio, La Hermandad Y Fin (from Spain). 

 Among the outstanding films is El Reino del Guardián, a Mexican film that received three international award nominations. The film tells the horrifying story of four friends who go deep into a cavern in search of a lost treasure; they will awaken the fury of the terrible guardian: the devourer who will eat their spirits until they destroy each other. Another noteworthy film is Las brujas de Zugarramurdi. This horror comedy produced in Spain won 18 awards among the Goya, Feroz and Fénix Awards. In it, the celebrated Mario Casas and actor Hugo Silva play two thieves who commit a robbery and flee from the police and the ex-wife of one of them (Macarena Gómez). Both hide deep in the forests of Navarra in a house inhabited by a horde of maddened women who feed on human flesh.

ViendoMovies is characterized by celebrating both Hispanic a American holidays, emphasizing its cultural relevance with this programming.
