MIAMI, Fl., September 2020 – ViendoMovies, the commercial free channel owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of the SOMOS Group) featuring exclusive movies, originally produced in Spanish, celebrates this September the 5th its 14-year career as a successful movie channel, bringing to its audience in the United States and Puerto Rico the best of cinema in Spanish, in all its varieties of origin and genres.

Launched in 2006, ViendoMovies stood out for opening a window to contemporary Spanish-language cinema, which had had little presence in these types of markets until that time. The channel is designed to give to its audience a space to enjoy big screen movies with Hispanic talents and quality productions. These features have opened the doors to the international movie market. During all these years, ViendoMovies has been faithful to present contemporary films of all genres (romance, action, thriller, horror, comedy), to maintain its schedule with few repetitions and with weekly premiers, and most importantly, to offer a look and feel culturally unique to Latinos, celebrating the cultural diversity that identifies this community.
