MIAMI, Fl., March, 2020 – Semillitas, the 24-hour commercial free animation channel for children between 0-5 years of age, owned by SOMOSTV, premieres this July 15 the accredited series Rosita Fresita (Strawberry Shortcake), a new addition to the channel’s portfolio of animated products. For decades, Fresita has been part of many people’s childhood, and now the character is presented in a new CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) format with a fresh plot to entertain today’s children audience.

This series complies with the channel’s content strategy, which is based on presenting top quality children's entertainment. Its unique cultural package is designed to reinforce the Latino culture and to support parents in giving a healthy, safe and educational entertainment to their children. The pay television channel is widely distributed in the United States, Puerto Rico, Central America and the Caribbean. 

Rosita Fresita has been translated into more than 8 languages. Rosita lives in a colorful community called Tutti Frutti. Along with her friends, Rosita lives educational experiences, which teach viewers the value of friendship and support for the community. She has an optimistic, thoughtful personality and is always full of ideas.
