MIAMI, Fl., June, 2020 – ViendoMovies, the pay TV channel owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of SOMOS Group), which programs the best exclusive films originally produced in Spanish, 24 hours a day and without commercial breaks, presents to its comedy-loving subscribers, a movie cycle starring the iconic actor Santiago Segura. The channel promotes the Spanish cinema and entertains its subscribers with blockbuster movies that can be enjoyed with family and friends in the safety of their homes.

The cycle begins on Sunday 7 with the first great success of this movie series, characterized by their thick humor and social criticism. The movie got great reviews from the public and from the critics. With 3 nominations and 2 Goya awards, the police comedy follows Torrente, a fascist, macho, racist, alcoholic man and fan of the Atlético de Madrid. He has a neighbor named Rafi (Javier Cámara) who likes action movies and guns, and lives with his mother and his cousin Amparito, a nymphomaniac. Together, Torrente and Rafi will patrol the streets of the city at night. 

Continuing on the 14th, ViendoMovies presents the sequel Torrente 2: Misión en Marbella, one of the highest grossing film in the history of Spanish cinema. Torrente decides to work as a private investigator and settles in the town hall of Marbella. There, he has the help of Cuco (Gabino Diego), who collaborates with him. Cuco's mission is to unmask Spinelli (Jose Luis Moreno), a dangerous arms’ dealer who threatens to destroy the city if he is not paid 2,000 million of pesetas.

On Sunday 21 Torrente 3: El Protector is presented. A popular MEP, Giannina Ricci, comes to visit Spain. Her objective is to close the multinational Petronosa, which damages the environment. In a very crazy way, Torrente ends up being the head of security who cares for Giannina and if that was not enough, he can choose and train those who will make up the elite body that helps him with her protection.

Culminating with the successes of this cycle on the 28th ViendoMovies presents Torrente 4: Lethal Crisis. This time, we find our (anti) hero in a delicate situation. After several unsuccessful attempts to live a decent and normal life, he decides to accept a dangerous assignment from an old acquaintance.

Together with this entrained cycle, the channel premiers: La Gran Promesa (Mexico), Sin Fin (Spain), Tercer Grado (Spain), Yo Mi Mujer y Mi Mujer Muerta (Spain).
