MIAMI, Fl., May, 2020 - ViendoMovies, the commercial free channel owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of the SOMOS Group) featuring exclusive movies, originally produced in Spanish, celebrates together with the Mexican and Latino community Cinco de Mayo. This date has become an important festivity to the different Hispanic communities living in the United States, and during this quarantine, ViendoMovies celebrates with them.

Throughout the day, the channel will present a variety of Mexican films from different genres that go accordingly to today’s circumstances: Sueño En Otro Idioma, La Voz De un Sueño, La Lengua Del Sol, Cómprame Un Revolver and Mole De Olla. 

With 16 Ariel Award nominations, Sueño En Otro Idioma tells the story of Martin, a young polyglot who comes to a town located in the jungle to study Zikril, a language that is about to disappear. Only two native speakers are alive, but these two men hate each other. Martin will try to find their reconciliation and prevent the Zikril tongue from disappearing.

In La Voz De un Sueño, Rocío is a talented singer who, against her family’s will, decided to leave her home to study at the city's Conservatory. Just at the best time of her singing career, Rocío finds out that her mother has cancer and wants the whole family to come together one last time. Rocío will return to her past after ten years and will face her family so she can still sing at the most important music festival in the region.

Another of the featured films is La Lengua Del Sol. Emilia and Ramiro enjoy their relationship to the fullest and live each day as if it were the last. But this situation is beyond them, it is terrible and imminent, the sun will come to them and put an end. Emilia and Ramiro have a plan: they have decided to conceive a child the second before the end of the world.
