MIAMI, Fl., April, 2020 – ViendoMovies, the commercial free channel owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva) featuring exclusive movies, originally produced in Spanish, premiers this Wednesday, April 8, the movie Voy Por Ti, a romantic drama plotted in the educational institutes of Caracas. After its world premiere at the 36 Miami Film Festival, the movie was presented in Miradas Actuales of FILMAR, considered one of the most important meetings of Latin American cinema in Europe. The movie also received the Special Jury Prize at the 15 Venezuelan Film Festival.

Voy Por Ti is a co-production between SOMOS Films (the feature film production company of SOMOS Group), with Xenon Films (Venezuela). SOMOS Films has developed a professional and varied portfolio with co-productions such as Muerte en Berruecos, El Paraíso de la Serpiente and Especial. The company is actually working on two new movies Al Revés and El Quinceañero de mi Abuela. 

The plot of Voy Por Ti is set in a high school where students create a ruthless environment. Marcos (Gregory Maldonado) goes to this school, he is a good boy and contrary to him is Yorman (Santiago Osuna), a student who has as a hobby erotic encounters in the school’s bathroom becoming the leader of his classmates. They both like Maryuri (Genesis Vernaza). This causes a confrontation between the two. Voy Por Ti is linked to the current theme of "sexting" and "bullying" so current in contemporary adolescents.

Voy Por Ti will be premiered together with others great movies: Juanita (Dominican Republic), En las Estrellas (Spain), Te Esperaré (Argentina) y Los Buscadores (Paraguay).
