MIAMI, Florida, February 2020 - ViendoMovies, the SOMOSTV channel (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of the SOMOS Group) 24 hours a day, which offers free exclusive and commercial free movies, originally produced in Spanish, celebrates with its audience the independence day of Dominican Republic. The channel has scheduled a special movie cycle for this February 27 with films from the beautiful island and that are so popular in the Latino community. ViendoMovies highlights: El Hombre Que Cuida, 2 Policías En Apuros, Súper Papa, Todo Incluido, Carpinteros, El Plan Perfecto, Pasao De Libras, Pal Campamento, Pa Que Me Case and the big premier of Jugando A Bailar.

As a special premier, the channel presents Jugando A Bailar, a comedy to watch with the whole family. Two indebted friends (the famous actors Fausto Mata and Manolo Ozuna), form a small baseball team so they can participate in a tournament whose prize is a large sum of money.  Carpinteros also stands out in this movie cycle. The movie was winner of nine awards and nominated for 11 awards. This romantic drama unfolds in the dangerous prison of Najayo. With few reasons to live, Julian has come to serve his sentence there. However, as the days go by, he meets Yanelly, a female prisoner. Between the prison’s walls, their romance starts to grow, but they can only communicate with a sign language called “carpinteo”, created by the inmates. They will keep this relationship hidden from Manaury, a dangerous man who also “carpintea” with Yanelly.

Drama lovers can also enjoy El hombre que cuida. Juan’s wife was unfaithful to him and now he is the laughing stock of a small fishing village. Now isolated, he takes care of a big mansion of a wealthy family from the capital. One afternoon, the owner’s younger son, comes to the house with a friend and a girl they have just met. During the course of the weekend, Juan is forced to make decisions that will affect the rest of his life.

Going through the comedy genre, ViendoMovies presents Dos Policías en Apuros, Súper Papa y Pasao de Libras. In Dos Policías en Apuros two imprudent Dominican policemen and a professional FBI agent join forces to investigate an international criminal gang. Dos Policías en Apuros is starring by Sebastián Rulli, Fausto Mata and Raúl Carbonell. In In Súper Papá, the great comedian Roberto Ángel Salcedo plays Juan, a widowed father of six children. Juan is forced to fight a legal battle with his in-laws, who want custody of all of the children and take them abroad. Starring by Luis José Germán, Carlos de la Mota and Carlos Sanchez, Pasao de Libra is a fun comedy where three overweight friends go through several problems when they decide to undergo weight loss surgery.

The channel has been characterized by celebrating the Latin cultural diversity and the festivities of each community.
