Award Winning Premieres This June on ViendoMovies

MIAMI, Fl., May, 2019 – ViendoMovies, the pay-tv channel with the best contemporary films in Spanish, presents this month a collection of internationally recognized films in today’s audience preferred genres. This June, the commercial-free channel presents a series of exclusive and special premieres from South America and Spain, offering entertaining and quality programming for Latino movie lovers.


The channel presents the production 1898: Los Últimos de Filipinas (Spain). Nominated for nine Goya Awards and a Forqué Award, this war film set in the late 1800s tells the true story of an "abandoned" Spanish battalion on the Philippine island of Luzon. Fighting a group of revolutionary Filipinos, this group of Spaniards takes refuge in a church and fights the insurgents against the Spanish empire, famine and disease for 337 days, without knowing that the war was over. Also from Spain, the channel premiers Que Dios Nos Perdone, a thriller developed in the chaotic and violent city of Madrid. Two inspectors must find a dangerous serial killer in the most cautious way, since the Pope is visiting the city and thousands of pilgrims await his arrival on the streets. The film had 6 nominations for the Goya Awards and was winner at the San Sebastian Festival, at the Forqué and at the Feroz Awards.


For terror lovers ViendoMovies premiers Mis Demonios Nunca Juraron Soledad. This Mexican film is set in 1854 in a cabin near the border of Mexico with Arizona. A gold prospector and his wife are stalked by a mysterious presence. The young woman tries to convince her husband that they are experiencing a supernatural event, but he is convinced that she is cheating on him with another settler and decides to capture him. In this hunt, he will end up discovering the terrible secret kept where he lives.


Other premiers that cannot missed are Cygnus (Mexico), Casa Caracol (Mexico), Esteban (Cuba), Calzones Rotos (Chile) y Súper Papá (Dominican Republic).
