MIAMI, Fl., October, 2018 – ViendoMovies, the 24-hours a day channel featuring exclusive, commercial free movies originally produced in Spanish, announces its special programming for Halloween. For 24 hours, on October 31, ViendoMovies will broadcast films full of suspense, mystery and terror, essential emotions in this “scary night.”

The Halloween celebration begins with the great premiere of "Cementerio General" (Peru). This film is based on ghosts and possessions and tells the story of Andrea (Airam Galliani), a teenager who suffers the death of her father. With the help of her school friends, she will be encouraged to contact him using the OUIJA. Unfortunately, a chain of terrifying and paranormal events starts to happen.

Two great Mexican films for this special night are “Barrancas” and “El Reino del Guardián.” "Barrancas" tells the story of Mario who goes to the town of Barrancas to hand over his uncle’s house to a new house caretaker. Mario takes the opportunity to invite the girl he likes and some of his friends to spend the weekend there. What Mario does not know is that this can be a very dangerous decision. “El Reino del Guardián” tells the scary story of four friends who enter the depths of a cave in search of a lost treasure, unfortunately, they will awake the fury of the terrible guardian: the devourer who will eat away their spirits until they destroy each other.

Other films that will be included in this Halloween programming are: “Maligno” (Peru), “La Cueva” (Spain), “Los Condenados” (Puerto Rico), and “Fin” (Spain).

ViendoMovies will present as well “Musarañas” (Spain), a movie taking place in the 50s. Montse (Macarena Gómez) lives with her little sister in a sinister apartment in the center of Madrid. Montse is obsessive and unstable, she suffers from agoraphobia but does not know it and hides from the real world among four walls. One day, something extraordinary happens: Carlos (Hugo Silva), a young and irresponsible neighbor, falls down the stairs and asks for help knocking on Montse's door. The movie was nominated in the Goya Awards (Best makeup and hairdressing), and it was a winner at the Sitges Festival (Official section of feature films in competition). "Viral" (Spain), directed by Lucas Figueroa, is a suspense movie about a young man who was chosen to be the star of a contest. He will have to live a week in a building and will not be able to leave. ViendoMovies continues with "Los Inocentes", a film about a group of young people who go on a field trip and spend the night in Las Doce Colinas, an abandoned shelter. The place it is rumored to have a curse going around every December 28. Ignoring this warning, the protagonists will begin to be victims of macabre jokes.

Another great Spanish thriller for Halloween night is "Purgatorio". The story tells the supernatural story of a young girl who by no choice has to take care of her neighbor's young son. Time passes and nobody shows up to pick him up. Rarely, the child's attitude begins to be increasingly rare, even claiming that there is another child in the house.
