ViendoMovies Celebrates its Great Releases in October

MIAMI, Fl., October, 2018 – ViendoMovies, the 24-hours a day channel featuring exclusive, commercial free movies, originally produced in Spanish, announces its very successful premieres for October when TV watching hits its higher viewer ratings. These Ibero-American productions bring together drama, romance and comedy and promise to amaze the channel's audience.

 

For starters, the Mexican drama "Elvira, te Daría mi Vida pero la Estoy Usando" features award-winning actress Cecilia Suárez. The star of the popular series "La Casa de las Flores," plays Elvira, a 40-year-old woman and mother of two children. One night, Gustavo, her husband, goes out to buy some cigars and never returns. Her tireless search leads Elvira to the conclusion that her husband is having a secret affair. This film was nominated for the “Ariel” awards and to the Los Angeles Film Festival and promises to have viewers at the edge of their seat from start to finish.

 

"El Club" (Chile), a movie with more than 19 nominations, including a Golden Globe, and 17 international awards premiers in ViendoMovies as well. This film plot’s develops between four priests who live in a retreat house on a coastal town, under the eyes of Monica, a nun caretaker. The priests are there to purge their sins; however, their routine and peacefulness are broken when a tormented new arrival makes them relive the past they thought they had left behind.

 

For suspense lovers, the Argentinean film "Baires" is brought to the screen. Mateo (Benjamin Vicuña) and Trini (Sabrina Garciarena) take a romantic vacation that turns into a nightmare when a gang of drug traffickers kidnaps Trini. The only way they will release her is if Mateo takes a cocaine shipment to Spain. Once he fulfills his dangerous mission, the criminals commit to put Trini on the next flight to Madrid.

 

"Bajo la Rosa" (Spain) and "Tamara" (Venezuela) are two premieres where suspense, love and crime come together as a perfect combination. In 2016, "Tamara" was the highest box office film in the South American country. Based on true facts, the movie relates the life of a man in his 40s, lawyer, respected teacher, married and with two children who decides to start his transformation process to become a woman, the gender that he has identified himself with since childhood.

 

Finally, for comedy aficionados, several films are featured in October. "El País más Feliz del Mundo" (Colombia) follows a corrupt mayor and his assistant on a journey to find a dead man in order to inaugurate the town's cemetery. "Mañana no te Olvides" (Dominican Republic) is about an adolescent with Down syndrome and his grandfather suffering with Alzheimer's. They form a special bond that allows them to enjoy the positive side of life. "Oh! Mammy Blue," awarded best film at the Alicante Film Festival, follows a legendary Spanish rock singer, Laura, who ruined her life and ends up in a nursing home where she forms a folk band with very unusual characters.
