Semillitas, the commercial-free 24-hour children's animation channel in Spanish, owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva), announced an agreement with the Wildbrain animation studio to license the series Las Nuevas Aventuras de Caillou, based on the traditional and internationally successful version, Caillou. The channel will premiere the series in November for its audience in the United States, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Central America. Las Nuevas Aventuras de Caillou meets the parameters of the channel, which is characterized by programming prestigious animation that is safe and free of violence.

Like the famous original series, Las Nuevas Aventuras de Caillou is about a four-year-old boy named Caillou, who learns about the world around him with the help of his family and friends. An animated series aimed at preschoolers that highlights the value of family ties, imagination as a tool for fun, and the importance of making friends. Each episode is 5 minutes long.
