MIAMI, Fl., May, 2022 –ViendoMovies, the Spanish-language movie channel owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of SOMOS Group) that programs the best exclusive movies, 24 hours a day and without commercial breaks, celebrated with the Mexican and Latino community this Cinco de Mayo, an important date in the calendar of the Mexican community. ViendoMovies took advantage of the occasion to celebrate and bring a selection of very high-profile films, within the cinema of the Aztec country. The channel is characterized by a programming strategy that celebrates the anniversaries of the communities that make up the Latin market.

The channel presented throughout the day a variety of Mexican films of different genres: Tiempo de Lluvia (drama), Cómprame un Revólver (thriller), Influencia (drama), El Viaje de Keta (comedy), y La Cuarta Compañía (drama).

Cómprame un Revólver with 16 nominations and 1 award at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival was part of the selection, as well as La Cuarta Compañía, winner of 12 awards and 10 nominations. La Cuarta Compañía won Best Film, Best Male Performance, Best Editing, Best Visual Effects, among others, at the Ariel Awards in Mexico. The film narrates the life of Zambrano, a juvenile delinquent who only wants to join the American football team known as "Los Perros de Santa Marta". "The Dogs" are also "The 4th Company", a squad of inmates that controls the vices and privileges of the prison for the benefit of the managers, and that devastates the city with car thefts and bank robberies that give large dividends to the men of power in the six-year term of López Portillo.

The programming included the movie Tiempo de Lluvia. With 4 awards at recognized festivals such as the Earth Day Film Festival. Also premiered as part of the celebration was the film Influencia, a drama to enjoy with the family, starring stars Alejandra Cárdenas and Marco Zapata.
