MIAMI, Fl., March, 2022 - ViendoMovies, the exclusive 24-hour Spanish movies channel, commercial-free, with the best contemporary films, owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of the SOMOS Group), presents in the month of March a special and fun cycle, dedicated to musical films, a genre that is widely accepted by the audience. ViendoMovies will program a musical film every Sunday in March. The film set includes Locos de Amor (Peru), El Malquerido (Venezuela), Tú y Yo (Spain), and Pueto Pa’ Mi (Dominican Republic).

The original film channel in Spanish stands out for a programming strategy, which has as one of its objectives the support of the film industry in Spanish in all its genres and its events. To begin the cycle of musical productions, the Peruvian comedy and musical film, Locos de Amor, directed by Frank Pérez-Garland, will be presented. This musical, in the tone of a romantic comedy that resulted in a box office success and starring Carlos Carlin and Gianella Neyra, tells the story of four cousins ​​who live in the same residence and face the different situations that life throws at them: loves, heartbreaks and endless tragicomic adventures; all within the framework of fun songs performed by the same characters.

Directly from Venezuela comes the documentary and musical about the life of the popular bolero singer Felipe Pirela, starring "Chino" Miranda. El Malquerido, directed by Diego Rísquez, tells the story of Felipe’s life through his romantic boleros. The tour takes us from his beginnings at a radio station in his native Maracaibo, to his success after becoming an international sensation. A "bolero", a heartbreaking song will follow him for the rest of his days. Although he is far from Venezuela, he will try to recover his life, recover his success and once again try to find romance, passion and music.

Tu y Yo tells a fictional story that takes place during an imaginary tour of David Bisbal in which a young woman takes refuge in his caravan. That unexpected encounter brings with it emotional consequences that will mark the artist's life forever.

To culminate the series of musicals, ViendoMovies presents Pueto Pa' Mi, where two young people from poor neighborhoods go through a series of difficult circumstances to achieve their dream of succeeding in urban music. Directed by Ivan Herrera, this Dominican musical features performances by renowned artists from the Dominican Republic such as Mozart la Para and El Mayor Clásico.
