MIAMI, Florida; August, 2018 – Semillitas, the 24-hour commercial free animation channel for children between 0-5 years of age, owned by SomosTV, announces celebrates the beginning of the school year with premiere episodes of the new animated series "Kit n Kate", special and educational promotions and episodes of "Angelina Ballerina", "Bob the Builder", "Mechanimals", "Sam Sam" and " Bali "focused on school.

The return to class marks a transitional moment in the lives of children from 0 to 5 years of age who are still adapting to the back to school rhythm. Semillitas through its programming intends to help the little ones to understand the importance of school, teachers and their classmates. During this time, the channel will air the new episodes of Kit n Kate focused on solving problems and using their imagination while working as a team, topics that enable kids to maintain an interest in problem solving and to work as a team with their classmates. The episodes of other animated series such as "Angelina Ballerina" are take place in the classroom and show children that learning can be fun, motivating them to enjoy their time in the classroom. Meanwhile, promotions produced in-house show children how the school bus takes them from home to school, which helps them understand the routine of the week and how school transport works.

Semillitas’ mission is to support parents with healthy entertainment for their children while encouraging the preservation of their cultural roots through recognized brand animation, and attractive and stimulating original content. It also provides culturally relevant information for Hispanic children. The Back-to-school programming was designed to help parents with the transition their children experience, and also to help preserve Spanish at home as many children speak English most of the time at school.
