MIAMI, Fl., August, 2021– ViendoMovies, the commercial free channel owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of the SOMOS Group) featuring exclusive movies, originally produced in Spanish, starts this August with varied premieres from the South American continent and Spain. In addition, for fans of good Peruvian cinema, a movie cycle dedicated to the renowned Peruvian actor and comedian Carlos Alcántara. The month is part of the channel's strategy of offering premieres with the best of Spanish cinema in a format that preserves the quality of the content.

During this month, ViendoMovies premieres El Amor Menos Pensado (Argentina), ¡Asu Mare! 3 (Peru), Patricia (Dominican Republic), Litus (Spain), Agosto (Cuba) and Me quedo contigo (Mexico). The premieres are accompanied by the Carlos Alcántara Movie Cycle with the films Siete semillas, Perro Guardián, ¡Asu Mare! 2 and Crazy Love 2. Carlos Alcántara is one of the most famous Peruvian actors, with an extensive experience in television (telenovelas and series), film and theater. The cycle is part of ViendoMovies' mission to support Spanish-language film talent.

El Amor Menos Pensado premieres on the 14th with the great actors Ricardo Darín and Mercedes Morán. This romantic comedy follows Marcos (Darín) and Ana (Morán), a couple who have been married for more than 25 years. The two enter an existential crisis that leads them to separate. The film was nominated 10 times between the San Sebastian Awards, the Monte Carlo Comedy Festival (where Darín wins the award for best actor), the South Awards, among others.

The great comedy ¡Asu Mare! 3 is part of the Carlos Alcántara Cycle and is part of the successful franchise ¡Asu Mare!, which has among its films the highest income in the history of Peruvian cinema. Happily married, Cachín (Carlos Alcántara) and Emilia (Emilia Drago), with the arrival of their firstborn, organize a trip to Miami with their best friends. A great surprise awaits them.

Patricia premieres on the 9th. This dramatic romance follows Juan Carlos, a boy who after several years residing in New York, returns to his country to marry his longtime girlfriend. However, he meets Patricia and decides to start a journey that will take him to discover his homeland in a way that he did not know or that he had forgotten.

Starring the great Spanish actors Álex García, Adrián Lastra, Belén Cuesta, Quim Gutiérrez, Miquel Fernández and Marta Nieto, Litus focuses on the reunion of a group of friends after the suicide, three months ago, of one of them. During the meeting, the most intimate secrets and tensions hidden for years will come to light. The drama with a touch of comedy got 2 nominations and two awards between the Malaga Festival and the Sant Jordi Awards.
