Among the most outstanding films is  the Spanish drama Palmeras En La Nieve with Mario Casas and Adriana Ugarte. It is 1953, Kilian (Mario Casas) embarks with his brother on a trip to Fernando Poo, a former Spanish colony in Equatorial Guinea. There awaits their father who grows one of the best cocoa in the world. They will discover that in the colony, social life is more pleasant than in Spain, they will experience the contrast between settlers and natives and will know the meaning of friendship, passion, love and hatred. The film had 11 nominations and 5 awards at international awards. 

Also, from Spain, Kiki, el Amor Se Hace (nominated for the Goya Awards and the Feroz Awards) is a comedy that tells the story of five couples, all willing to discover how to get pleasure in very peculiar ways and without taboos. The film was nominated for 14 international awards including The Goyas and The Feroz Awards. 

The Peruvian film Locos de Amor 2 is the sequel to the musical that follows the stories of a single mother and the man who has not been able to forget her since she was 23 years old. A woman who longs to be a mother and a single father in her fifties who only thinks of her. A disheartened man who starts dating a driver who gives love advice on the radio. And a mature woman who comes from Miami looking for new experiences. All the characters will discover that it's never too late to be crazy in love again.

From Colombia Corazón de León introduces Juana, a divorced lawyer and partner of her ex-husband, Edgar. One day she loses her cell phone and is contacted by León, who finds the phone and intends to return it to her. During their phone call, they established an immediate interest, so they coordinate to meet the next day. The problem is that Leon is 1.36 meters tall, but from that encounter they will try to overcome those missing centimeters, facing social prejudices and their own.
