MIAMI, Fl., December, 2019 – ViendoMovies, the 24-hours a day channel, property of SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva), featuring exclusive, commercial free movies, originally produced in Spanish, celebrates the end of the year with a programming specially selected for this time of the year. Over the 2020, the channel presented premieres to entertain and bring joy to its audience as well as alleviate the time they have to be confined in their homes. For the month of December, ViendoMovies brings films from different countries such as  Ayúdame a Pasar la Noche and Maquinaria Panamericana (both from Mexico),  Locos de amor 2 (Perú), Pueto pa’ mi (República Dominicana), Broche de oro: comienzos (Puerto Rico),Zona Hostil and Handia (both from Spain) and All inclusive (Argentina). With this programming, the channel seeks a mix of genres appropriate for a month where spending pleasant and entertaining moments with the family is the most important activity.

ViendoMovies premieres in December two films from the good Mexican cinema. Maquinaria Panamericana, which is a comedy awarded with the Ariel award for Best Screenplay and winner for Best Film at the Guadalajara, Durango, Guanajuato and Monterrey festivals, as well as a special mention at the Torino Festival, among other events. The film narrates the incidents in a company where its owner has died and he is bankrupt, turning the story into a social metaphor. For its part, Ayúdame a Pasar la Noche is a family drama, with touches of dark comedy that received two Ariel Award nominations. Zona Hostil, was nominated for the Goya Awards in the category of best song and special effects, and then Handia, had 19 nominations among international awards and 17 awards, a drama based on real events that tells the story of Martín, a soldier who returns from the First Carlist War to his village to discover that his younger brother, Joaquín, may be "the biggest man on Earth", both embarking on a long journey through Europe in search of money and fame.

Further emphasizing on the genre of comedy the movie Locos de Amor 2 is a sequel to the musical that follows the story of several couples in different situations who are looking for love. Broche de Oro: Comienzos is the story of three friends who meet in an asylum and recruit residents to defy the rules so they can enter a contest to win a special prize. The holiday programming culminates with the true story of Pueto Pa’ Mi, a story of the lives of two artists who face difficulties and poverty, but who will never give up their dreams, always striving for success.
