MIAMI, Fl., January, 2020 – ViendoMovies, the 24-hours a day SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of SOMOS Group) channel featuring exclusive, commercial free movies, originally produced in Spanish presents this Saturday, January 11 to all its subscribers a movie full of drama and suspense, La Cordillera.

Released worldwide at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, La Cordillera is plotted at the Latin American presidents’ summit that takes place in La Cordillera, Chile. In the middle of the convention, the president of Argentina, Hernán Blanco (Ricardo Darín), finds himself in a political and family drama. There in front of all heads of state, he must solve this personal problem that can affect his private and public life. It is the fourth highest grossing Argentine film of 2017 and achieved a total of 654,137 viewers.

The movie was filmed during eight weeks in Argentina (Buenos Aires and Bariloche) and Chile (Santiago), in addition to the Andes Mountains where the presidents’ summit was held. The film has a very professional and talented cast: Argentine star Ricardo Darín, Dolores Fonzi, Érica Rivas, Gerardo Romano, Paulina García, Alfredo Castro, Daniel Giménez Cacho, Elena Anaya, Leonardo Franco and Christian Slater.
