MIAMI, Fl., April, 2019 – Semillitas, the 24-hour commercial free animation channel for children between 0-5 years of age, owned by SomosTV, will form part of this big event, Earth Day, celebrated on April 22. In some way, everyone has become aware of our planet’s climate change, and Semillitas joins this cause by promoting activities such as recycling, planting trees and saving electricity. 

The channel takes this opportunity to promote the “Go Green” initiative and to teach the youngest children of the house how to contribute on this special day. The channel’s most branded characters such as, Sid the Science Kid, Bali, Chloe’s Closet, SamSam and Monkey See Monkey Do. They will do activities that help the environment such as, separating garbage, planting a tree and saving energy. The idea is to create awareness and to bring a message aimed to prevent climate change.

As always, Semillitas supports Latino parents on teaching their children the Spanish language through its programming and encourages teaching values. The channel invites you to join in on ecological activities that are organized all over the world. A small step forward into helping our Mother Earth.
